Richmond, VA Brokers come out on top in commercial real estate deal-making competition

CoStar Group, Inc., the data and analytics leader of the commercial real estate industry, today announced the Power Brokers Quarterly Deals winners for the second quarter of 2020. Phillip Baxter and Eric Sutter of SVN Motleys came out on top in the list of winners in Richmond, VA. Power Brokers Quarterly Deals winners are determined by their top deals every quarter, based on price and square footage.

Phillip works closely with developers, lenders, landlords and investors, retailers, brokers and contractors in all aspects of the corporate real estate process to include National retailers, the GSA and various Fortune 500 defense contractors.  He possesses an in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate finance, accounting and real estate law.  He also has a thorough understanding of financial markets and models, as well as construction and property management practices.

Phillip comes to Richmond from Fredericksburg, where he was a Senior Vice President with Colliers International.

Eric specializes in growing real estate operations for Motleys by increasing exposure locally and advising on brand growth decisions. Since his introduction to the industry in 2016, Eric has worked on over $100mm worth of closed real estate deals. Eric attended University of Colorado where he studied Communication. He spent a decade there before moving back to Richmond in 2018.
